Default Question on Upgrading

I have never upgraded a weapon before and I'm wondering how to do you upgrade a sword.

I have a clean Fellblade. No mods on it.

Questions:
1. How many things can I put on it?
2. What are "max mods"?
3. Are there different spots on the sword that I can only upgrade once, like Sword hilt or something like that?

Any other helpful information regarding upgrading would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

max is whatever is the maximum available for the type of mod for example 20 % longer enchanting as opposed to only 19 % longer

same for armor, health but i dont remember the exact figures

Sweet. Thanks for the info my friend.

But just to make sure.

To upgrade a clean sword, I buy an upgrade for the Hilt and an upgrade for the Pummel and only one upgrade for each can be on my sword?

And what about magic damage. Like fire dmg or earth dmg on a sword. Is that a seperate kind of upgrade, or is that a hit or pummel upgrade?

You can have only one hilt and one pommel per sword.

Fiery, Ebon, Icy, Shocking are all sword hilts.

max health is 30 and max armor is 5, and it depends on what skills you use with your sword

like if you use sever artery and want to add to the overall dmg of that skill you could use a barbed hilt to increase the time they bleed by 33% for eg.

Guildwiki is your friend. Your sword would be better if it had a modifier on it.

Apparently spell check is not my friend.
